We are very pleased to spotlight Dr. Bill Green, Superintendent of Minneapolis Public Schools. NEA-GLBTC Member Tim Leach shared with us the following letter to school district employees...
I am inviting all those staff members who are planning to attend the 36th annual Twin Cities GLBT Pride Festival Parade on Sunday, June 29, to march with me in the parade at 11 a.m.
The parade route will begin at the corner of 3rd Street and Hennepin Avenue near the downtown library in Minneapolis and will follow Hennepin Avenue to Loring Park.
If you are interested in marching, please meet at the Dunn Brothers on Nicollet Mall (it is in the back of the downtown library). Look for the Out4Good banner . We will begin lining up at 10:30 a.m.
RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Call or e-mail Jessi Tebben at [information redacted for publishing on web].
Also, stop by the MPS Out4Good booth at Loring Park on Saturday or Sunday, June 28-29.
